Shrink tubing insulation products are available in single and dual-wall varieties in all standard colors. QPL certified Sumitube is a heat-shrinkable tube (that shrinks in the radial direction when heated) that takes advantage of the shape-memory effect of plastics enhanced by electron beam irradiation. Made mainly from raw materials such as polyolefin, fluorinated polymer, or thermoplastic elastomer, Sumitube is widely used in various industrial fields for thermal protection, insulation protection of electrical wires and harnesses and protecting joined mechanical assemblies. Sumitube shrink tubing meets key major commercial and military specifications including AMS-DTL-23053, UL and CSA, is RoHS compliant and manufactured in the USA.
