Bill has 35 years of experience in the machining industry and has been instrumental in expanding CDM’s metalworking capabilities since the now 4000-square-foot shop opened in 2013. Under Bill’s leadership and mentoring, services and protocols that can be accommodated by the CDM Machine Shop include 3-4-5 Axis automated CNC milling, automated CNC turning and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining.) Mechanical processes include grinding, drill/punch press, tapping, mechanical assembly, sand blasting and other surface prep. Bill continues to develop machining protocols for such diverse materials as aluminum, brass, copper, hardened steel, Inconel, plastics, stainless steel, Teflons and titanium.
